The Bach Beer Stein. Actually, there are two historic Bach beer steins. The first exciting historical Bach beer stein from 1985 in the colors light blue and dark blue can still be found from time to time and here and there. But ... just not very often. The second particularly elaborate Bach Beer Stein was given to my father-in-law many years ago by my husband and me as a birthday present. After that, we found it ... this particularly exciting beer stein .... never, never again. So ... the Bach beer stein from the year 2000. New beer steins , but in really completely different style and with a different design on them – and you might like them even more – can be found, and they are new, on "Zazzle". The tin lid: You can see a very tiny bit of patina in the engraving, but considering the age of this stein, the quality is phenomenal. Nowhere else are you likely to get a Bach stein with a tin lid of this quality. If you can find one anywhere else at all, the lid is practically always deep dull black. Again, you read the date of birth and the date of Bach's 300th birthday (... 1685 and 1985). In between, in the middle you can see the Bach seal, which was thought to be correct for well over two hundred years. In fact, it has only five cones in the crown. Today ... we know better.
